The Rainbow Room is an Emergency Resource Room that assists abused and neglected children when they need it the most. It is available to CPS caseworkers 24/7 so that the children can be provided with basic essentials.

Would you please consider donating to the Rainbow Room today? Your donation goes a long way in helping children in need within our community.

  • The Rainbow Room is an emergency resource room available to caseworkers 24/7 for CPS and foster children in need. It provides essentials such as hygiene items, diapers, formula, blankets, pack and plays for safe sleep, toys for comfort, clothing and much more. The room is 100% community funded and is overseen by the Rainbow Room Executive Board of volunteers.

  • Children’s needs do not stop after hours or during the holidays. Therefore, this room was created so that workers can get needed essentials for the children without delay and when they need it the most. It also gives the children the message that they matter, are loved and have the community support beside them because they are worth it

  • Any child that CPS is working with. This can include a foster child which is a child that has entered foster care or a CPS child which is a child that CPS is working with and is still living at home with their family.

  • 0-17

  • The room is available to CPS staff 24/7. Children sometimes join the coworkers to choose their items when possible.

  • The 13 counties of the Concho Valley.

  • Please see the attached wish list for a general list of needs. However, feel free to call if you prefer to know what the top 3-5 needs are at any given time as it changes throughout the year.

  • Yes, all items must be new.

  • -Please contact the Rainbow Room Coordinator to make an item or monetary donation.

    -If you prefer to just drop off items, you are able to drop them off at the CPS front lobby located at 622 S. Oakes Ave, Ste. L, during the regular business hours of M-F, 8am-5pm. The front desk will then provide you with a donation slip to fill out as the RR Board would love to send you a thank you card for your kind generosity!

  • We love volunteers, they are the heart of this room! Please contact the Rainbow Room Coordinator to set up a day and time to volunteer.
